OnePlus has officially announced the OnePlus 15 at the recently concluded Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii. At the event, the China-based smartphone maker also confirmed that the OnePlus 15 will be the first phone to pack in Qualcomm’s newest flagship chipset – the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
While not much is known about the upcoming device, OnePlus has stated that it will be the first phone to feature the company’s in-house developed DetailMax image engine, which utilises “advanced algorithms and powerful processors to capture images that feel breathtakingly clear and truly real.”
Also, OnePlus seems to be ditching the iconic circular island and is instead going with a new back panel with a vertically aligned camera island that houses three lenses.
