Fans waited hours to be among the first to buy the new models. Among the excited buyers was a content creator who had an embarrassing moment in front of Apple CEO Tim Cook. After purchasing the phone, he decided to do a live unboxing alongside Cook. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned, as the individual accidentally dropped the brand-new iPhone.
Soon after the video started circulating online, social media users joked that it was the most unexpected yet perfect way to perform a drop test. Others were surprised that the content creator didn’t ask Cook to sign on the device and instead asked him to sign on a piece of paper.
Content Creator’s Embarrassing Moment
The video starts with the content creator holding the iPhone 17 box and chatting with Tim Cook before opening it. He was clearly excited, but things took an awkward turn when he opened the box in a hurry and accidentally dropped the phone. The creator quickly picked it up, while the Apple CEO remained calm and reassured him that “It’ll be okay. It’ll be okay.”
The video shared on X (Formerly Twitter) came with the caption that read, “This is so embarrassing. Bro dropped the IPHONE 17 in front of TIM COOK.”
