Many users have been excited about Samsung’s new foldables, but the last expected mouthpiece for Samsung’s praises seems to be Apple. Apple’s official support page on a Chinese social platform has posted a Galaxy Z Flip 7 promo video, very likely by accident.
Update: Apple has since commented on the event, citing a Weibo bug that misaligns content from other posts. This can cause media to appear from one author when it was never uploaded under that account.

The bug caused Samsung’s content to appear under Apple’s account for one user who shared a video of the event, meaning this didn’t seem to be a widespread event.
Apple’s support account on Weibo has since removed the post, but there’s already some evidence scattered across social media. According to a post from @UniverseIce on Twitter/X, Apple’s support account posted an entire video advertising the Galaxy Z Flip 7.

The video is 2:20 in length and showcases most of the phone’s features with One UI 8.
There are theories that this was part of a social media management error, where the firm in control of the company’s advertising efforts may have had their wires crossed. It’s possible that both companies – Samsung and Apple – use the same advertising firm in China, and the full-length feature promo was posted by mistake.
You can even see the correct thumbnail uploaded for the video. The image advertises the App Store, and the video is supposed to be educational on managing content for children.
Still, it’s hard to imagine the details were easy to miss through the multiple steps it takes to push to socials.

In any case, the slip-up seems to be a simple, but funny, mistake. The companies have been known to work with each other on the hardware side, but they’re obviously competitors in terms of final products sold.
