After leaks revealed the Pixel 10’s specs last week, it’s now the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL’s turn, as the specs for Google’s most expensive flagships have been revealed.

Reportedly dropping in August
Surprisingly, not a huge amount is changing — with one big exception. If these leaks are correct, then the Pixel 10 Pro XL will be packing the largest battery cell on any Pixel phone, ever.
Google is boosting cell size and charging speed
Say goodbye to battery anxiety
Pixel batteries have been a mixed bag. For every Pixel with an excellent battery life, there would be another with a dramatically abysmal offering. Last year’s Pixel 9 Pro held up extremely well, showcasing all-day battery life, and Google looks set to continue that trend, as leaks have revealed the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL’s hardware specs.

If the exclusive leaks from Android Headlines are accurate, then Google will be looking to pack a massive 5,200mAh battery into the Pixel 10 Pro XL, a 140mAh boost from the Pixel 9 Pro XL‘s cell. While that’s not an enormous jump up in size, it is the largest we’ve ever seen on a Pixel, and it should mean the new phone manages to at least equal its predecessor’s solid battery life.
The Pixel 9 Pro will, once again, sport a slightly lower battery size than its non-Pro counterpart, coming in at a respectable 4,870mAh. That’s 170mAh larger than the Pixel 9 Pro though, so Google is at least consistent with its cell size increases.
Both the Pro and Pro XL will once again sport a vapor chamber for enhanced cooling, an excellent choice with how heat-prone Google’s Tensor processors have proven to be.
Charging gets a small zap too, rising to 29W for the Pro and 39W for the Pro XL — a small 2W increase over the previous models. Neither will be challenging the OnePlus 13 in charging speeds, but they’re still decently nippy.
The rest of the specs stay much the same
Don’t fix what ain’t broke
Google doesn’t seem to be making may other changes where the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL are concerned, at least hardware-wise. They’ll sport the same 6.3-inch and 6.8-inch displays with 1-120Hz refresh rates and LTPO tech and 3,000 nits of brightness.
The biggest surprise is that the camera suites are largely set to stay the same, with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 48MP ultrawide lens, 48MP 5x telephoto lens, and a 42MP selfie camera around the front. The Pixel line has long been defined by its cameras, so it’s a surprise Google won’t be looking to tune them further. However, it wouldn’t be the first time Google has kept the hardware the same and tuned the software for better performance, and the rumors Google will be offering macro modes on the telephoto and ultrawide lenses support this.
There are some minor, but important changes where storage is concerned. The Pro XL has ditched the 128GB variant and will offer 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options. The Pixel 10 Pro will offer 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB variants.
Processor-wise, well, there are no surprises here. It’ll be the fifth-generation Google Tensor G5 behind the wheel, with 16GB of RAM along for the ride.
In less welcome news, there are rumblings Google will be looking to increase the price of the Pro variants, possibly in order to justify the dropping of the 128GB storage model — but these rumors stay unconfirmed.
We expect to see the Pixel 10 revealed in August, and we’ll doubtless learn more about the phones before then.
