At a launch event in New Delhi on Monday, Nothing launched its second smartphone under the CMF brand. After the CMF Phone 1 last year, the company launched the CMF Phone 2 Pro in India. CMF Phone 2 Pro: Key features
The CMF Phone 2 Pro brings a bunch of upgrades to the phone with special focus on camera. As against the single camera setup on the CMF Phone 1, the Phone 2 Pro sports a 50-megapixel primary sensor (similar to the one on the Nothing Phone 3a), a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and up to 20x ultra zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 119.5-degree field of view. For selfies, it offers a 16-megapixel camera on the front.
Similar to the Nothing Phone 3a series, the CMF Phone 2 Pro also comes with an Essential Space feature, which is basically a dedicated key that gives you quick access to voice notes, screenshots, photos, and more. Nothing says more AI features will be coming to the device and to Essential Space “very soon”.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset. Nothing claims that the processor is “up to 10 per cent faster CPU speeds” and has “up to 5 per cent improvement in graphics handling” compared to the Dimensity 7300 5G chip that powered the CMF Phone 1.
